use a php script in a html page

i have a html page, in a div of this page i designed a upload form with action="file.php"
in file.php, user's file upload and not a problem here
but i want to print information about user file as size, type, path,... inside that div of my html page.
how can i display in a html page, for example a sentence that write in a php file?
