I'm looking to better understand larger sets of particles generated in flash via AS3. I have extensive experience generating particle systems via traditional means, which will easily allow for 5000-10000 particles ( as MovieClips for example ).
I am looking to do something in the 500,000-1mil range without notable performance hits.
