I am working on a project and want to put place holders into the input fields. I am using HTML5 standards and including code for Falling Back for browsers that don't don't support the new standard, IE9 to be exact, but cannot get it to work. I know the code is correct but any suggestions would help. I was putting the code in a JS block in the header. Could I be wrong here?
Other than that, the placeholders are working fine in Firefox, Chrome and Opera. (I haven't tested Safari or other formats.)
