How do I make a web page thats like yourdomain.com/xyz

I want to create a page where people can type in my website slash something so they can access that page directly. Right now you have to type in .html at the end of it and I don't want that. Example: website.com/THIS Can someone please tell me how I can do this?

in your root folder make another folder name xyz. In there make an index.html
