colors display in dreamweaver but not in browser

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me out with an CSS issue.
when I link a stylesheet to change the colors of a website, the colors will not show up in the browser. But the colors will show up in dreamweaver.

Also, when I click on the live preview in dreamweaver then the colors will not show as well.

I've tripple checked my code and tried different computers with different browsers but still no luck.

Has this happen to anyone? Thank You.

I have never used dream weaver. Have are you sure that the style sheet is being included properly. Are you sure you are using proper hexadecimal values? Did you forget the "#". If you still can't figure it out then create a new project with a css file and a single div and see if you can aply the color to that.

If you are still banging your head against a wall then maybe you should upload some of your code so that we can help you better.
