I'm currently planning to make a website which is intended to be used for advertising purposes. However I have no experience in this area hence would appreciate some help on how the basics of advertising within a website:
Questions:
1) How is an advert placed on the website (Is there a code and does the advertiser provide this or can it vary e.g. image?)
2) How can a pay per click system be set up? How are payments made/managed? Can this be done through paypal and how do I know I will be payed for every click?
Any help would be much appreciated. Please do add extra information on advertising if you think its necessary for me to know - I need all the help I can get as I'm a total beginner in this area!
