Separate Folder and File Views

Hello,

I have a web host on which I have a series of folders which contain files and other folders. I can navigate onto those folders and see all the files and sub folders in them. The problem I have now is that the files and folders are not separated from each other but are listed in an alphabetical order. What I would like to do now is separate folders and files from each other and list them alphabetically for better navigation. How should I do that?
