Co***icting javascript

I know how to implement jquery but I'm by no means a javascript writer. Consequently, my portfolio website has some co***icting scripts.

The arrows in my "work" section don't.. work. If I remove the smooth scroll script, it works. Any ideas? I would so appreciate some help.
