change not replicating on server

Hi there,

I am a beginner, so please be patient with me.

I have edited a button link on a web page, copied the pages I have edited across to the server to overwrite existing html files.

when I preview in dreamweaver or on the server by clicking on the html file, the change is there and the link works without a problem.

but when i try and preview it from another machine it just does not replicate.

it is as if it is looking somewhere else on the server and not in the folder I've worked of.

I hope this made sense.

Sounds very much like you have a 'local link' rather than a relative link so it's linked to the image using something like: C:\Users\user\Documents\sites\foo\images\image.foo
