Morning
Can you spare five minutes to give me a numpties overview of Flash vs jquery and Ajax?
We’re building a new site and we have specced it to run a Flash file for the action panel (the main panel on the homepage which scrolls through different images and offers etc.
However, I have since noticed that lots of sites are using jquery or Ajax for this (see www.mankind.com or www.maximuscle.com or www.lookfantastic.com) which I think is more search friendly and probably more accessible (although that gap has closed a lot with Flash now I think).
For me to get the new website’s spec changed will probably incur a cost and I want to make sure it’s worthwhile before I do anything.
What do you reckon?
