Site Ground pics, How To Make Them

Hi all web site designers. I have a site that I would like to create a ground
photo with text. What is the best software, besides Gimp and photoshop
to create background pictures?

I created one using gimp for one site but its not professional. Are there any
site designers that can create these pics? Thanks for any help

Hi,

Photoshop is the industry standard for creating web graphics, and gimp is pretty good too, so you have the software. If you have a good idea of exactly what you are looking for, I'd perhaps look to buy an image or ready-made background from istockphoto, shutterstock, getty or fotolia etc.
