phpBB3 login from home page

Hi everyone =)

I have a section on my html website template that allows for user login (of course it isn't set up yet) and I want members of my forum to be able to login there and have it redirect them to the forum. so basically the home page has a login that acts as a portal to the forum.

does anyone have an idea of how to do this?

copy the login form of the forum

include the action attribute value of the form tag and make sure the fields are named the same
