Hello,

I am new to web design and I have learned a fair bit on my own. I am now at the point in my life were I want to get an education in web design and I have a few questions for all the experienced web designers out there.

What kind of content management system does a website like [deleted by mod :: new users aren't allowed links] use?

Is it Joomla or Magento or what kind of system are they usung?

I want to take schooling to learn how to build a website like that. What kind of schooling and courses would I have to take?

Thanks in advance for your help! I really appreciate help with this information to get me started in a web design career.

Happy Holidays,

TheWho

There are many CMS software packages on the market and open source is becoming, if not already, huge including Drupal, Joomla, dotCMS, etc. Not easy to learn everyone as each large company can go different paths depending on what they are looking for including ease of use and flexibility. Probably best starting with a basic CMS like WordPress which is easy to install and play around with on your server.
