Help with Joomla Question!!

Hey guys,

I've got a Joomla! template question if anyone can help...

I'm designing my template locally using MAMP. I've got a layout with a top banner, left sidebar and now i'm trying to put my content next to it using the <jdoc:include type="component"> tag...

BUT

When I put the tag in, and click refresh on my localhost, my site disappears and just goes to a blank white screen!

If you have any idea what I'm doing wrong or can point me in the right direction that'd be great!
