Hi,
I've been asked by a customer for whom i'm developing a desktop app for if i can produce an online version of the app. I can, in asp.net. However i'm really keen to do it in PHP with a mysql backend. My question is, for business web sites, that require authentication, security logins etc etc (they will have sales staff seeing different menus to contract staff etc), can i use joomla, drupal, wordpress etc or should i be thinking normal PHP from scratch.
I'm really stuck on this one. I've done some reviews of drupal v joomla, and it seems they both are really suited for CMS.
Any advise appreciated.
ps. is this the right forum for this question?
regards
