Hey all,
First of all, I am not a web designer so forgive my ignorance. I write codes for my company and would like to make it available to everyone on a dynamic basis (we don't have a mechanism already in place). So I thought something like Joomla would be the way to go. I can learn it, easy enough. Ideally, I would have an interaface where I can upload my application, type some description and it will be immediately available to authorized users. Does that make sense? do you think Joomla is a good tool?

Next question:

My company has given me a sub domain in their site where I would ideally place my mini-site. However, I wont have enough access to mess with databases or even host my joomla site there. I already have a personal domain. Is there anywhere I can 'Host' my joomlah site (database) in my personal site but show it under the company sub-domain?

Hope my question is clear.
