Shopping Cart Software

I'm building a site for a client that needs a shopping cart integrated into the site. Does anyone have recommendations as far as which company/software to use?

There are two main ones we use if you are looking for generic carts that have lots of features. Make sure you know all the main features your customer wants cause sometimes a custom cart is better than a generic one.

But depending on the language you can either use X-Cart or Vevocart:

X-cart (http://www.x-cart.com/)
If you are developing in PHP and MySQL this is a great option. It is highly skinable and you can integrate into almost any website.

They also have several plugins/add-ons that you can install to enhance it even further.

I would show a couple of examples of this one but I have not done one since the old company I worked for as we mostly use vevocart now. But X-Cart is a great option if you are using PHP.

This is a great cart if you want to program in .Net 2.0 MSSQL. This is also highly skinabble and you can integrate into any website as you need.

These are two basic integrations but you can see how you can get the feel and look on how you need.
