I need a review on my new website

Hello,

I am currently working on a site that is going to give alot of information, I just finished the graphics and made them with css, it are all image based graphics.

Now I am wondering if I should stop with this fance image look and just do plain simple text buttons pls help me out on this one.

My apologies in advance, but the site seems to be something that was built on angelfire in the 80's and abandoned. I would absolutely get some color in there. I would also get rid of the useless inner div's creating the unnecessary scrollbar. As far as the fancy image look, it has some potential but not sure which direction you are going with it.
