Cannot get activation link to work!

Hi, I recently was setting up a login for my site, and whenever I try to register a user, I seem to run into trouble. You see, I will be fine up until I receive a confirmation email. Once I receive it, the link simply will not work. I guess i dont have the page configured correctly to allow for the correct generation of code...please help!:(
