need help on 2 issues

i want a help on 2 issues :
1- how to add search tool ( searching data from our website ) i think i have seen a tool like this but i can't remember at which website , maybe its powered by google or it says search google.com and another tab says search this site ?

2- what is the very best search engines software for submission and guaranteed results on google, yahoo. msn

1. Add Google Search (http://www.google.com/sitesearch/#utm_medium=et#utm_source=us-en-et-bizsol-0-biz1-all#utm_campaign=en) to your website.
2. Just do it yourself to the important ones --or-- get your site linked to on a popular website. I put one link on a site with 50,000+ unique visitors a month for a new website and Google and Yahoo had crawled it by the next day and it was in their search results within a couple of days (on the third day of the site being live, I saw in the logs that three visitors found it with Google).
