My outgoing emails labelled as spam - please help

Hello peoples.
I've recently set up a couple of sites. One for myself and one for a friend.
My friends email is the problem. When receiving emails from his site they are labeled as spam. We've sent to hotmail, gmail etc and all are being labeled spam. His settings are identical to mine yet my emails are fine. We've even changed the ip of the site but the problem still persists.
Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

You can try looking up your ip address to see if its blacklisted http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

You can try your IP http://www.whatismyip.com/, and also look in the headers of an email that you sent to see other IPs that your email is using.

Some of the blacklists web pages will give you information about why you are on the list and also give you an option to request to be removed.
