A woman I work with is having major problems with her computer. I think the best thing she can do is reformat and start over. That would not be a problem but there is one program that she has to have and she can not get it again.
Is there anyway that program can be backed up and the installed on a fresh copy of windows?

Flash drives/ pen drives/ dongles - those things you stick in a usb port are very useful; 4GB storage is common and cheap now.
However, with most programs it's no use just saving the folder that seems to have the files as most programs edit the registry so you need to save the installation file(s), usually the setup.exe file that you started with originally, or download the up to date version from the web, or use the original installation cd.
