We're setting up a site for skateboarders. One side will be a skateboard shop, the other a forum that features ongoing contests for the skaters. They'll need to be able to easily, reliably, quickly upload their own videos. I'm planning to use a 'polling' feature to enable voting on their clips.
We currently on a basic account with goDaddy, with 10 GB space and 300 GB transfer rate. I imagine goDaddy oversells some. Will we need a different host?
I'm planning to setup the site on Wordpress as a CMS/blog, with Shopp for the cart. Someone's suggested I use Simple Machines Forum for the video contests. Anybody else have any ideas on a forum platform that has video uploading capabilities and polling?
Thanks
