Pls Help!!!

Hey everyone!!...

Im new to this forum, I already posted a thread here...i dont know what happened,,but i dont see it anywhere...so i decided to post this one as well:goof:

I've taken on a project to build this website for an Electric Company. They just want the website to display their products to a specific group of clients. I have past experience in ASP.net and MySql (i'm not an expert but i did a group project on an online movie store). I have no idea where to start this site, it does not seem very complicated to me, but I have no idea how or where to include the server side applications.

Please give me a rough idea on how to go about building this site and also give some specific info on the following:

-How could i display the products in a way that the clients can easily search by entering a product number
-The company requested me to assign a password for a limited number of clients, so that only they will be able to view the website.
