Hey everyone,
This is my first post on this website so I was really hoping to get some honest feedback on my current situation.
I am in the process of developing an online culinary store that will offer products, video demos, discussion forum, recipes, and about a million other things.
Okay, here is my question. Do you think I would be better off using a 'total ecommerce solution' like CoreCommerce, Fortune 3, etc. or, money permitting, would I benefit more from building a stand-alone program with my own designers, admin area, server, shopping cart software, etc.?
This site might not be very large at first, but I plan on running it for the long-haul and I just don't want to regret my decision a year or 2 down the road.
Any advice you could offer would be more than appreciated!
Thanks.
Chef Joe
