How To Add News Feed w/Images To Web Page?

I am still in the process of learning CSS. I am currently playing with a new design that involves new (to me anyway) aspects that I've just learned.

Anyway, this particular design calls for inserting a local news feed (RSS I guess). Is it possible to get an RSS with images that rotate with the news articles or do these feeds only provide text or just headlines?

Regardless, what do the experts recommend and what is the best way to add these headlines to a page?
