Templates?

I want to design some cool blog templates, is there any standard for this? I further on want to sell them so what should I focus on? Any sites that contain examples of blog templates?

That's a pretty vague way of describing things. So here's some insight - as far as standards go, look at blog sites. You'll notice how there is a 66% main column width and the 33% right (sometimes left) column with layout on most of the sites.

If you want to sell them you need to focus on scalibility and ease of use for the administrator and NOT the developer. Check out templatemonster.com for wordpress themes. Wordpress should be your blog engine/CMS of choice for what you're trying to accomplish.
