Hey everybody! I am looking for help on how to start up a website/weblog.
Now, I have an idea on a domain name, and also where to host it, but what I am having trouble is what components would be best to start creating one?
For instance, I would like to design the site with Dreamweaver, but I am reading articles about how you would need to develop a SQL database.
Now, what is the significance of using an SQL database, in regards to building the weblog portion of the site.
Also, how would I go about creating a system where users would have to register in order to comment on any posts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
