Please help me help someone with a flash problem

If I can help this person out with their Flash problem, it would be awsome in many ways. Here is what they have sent me so far.

We have a basic flash slideshow that pulls images from a xml file but once we add our background image, overlay boarder, and name graphic, the slideshow breaks....
