Need help.!.

I am trying to make a lower content section of my site, with a div that expands and contracts vertically depending on content, and a background that repeats down.

I cannot get the middle section of this div to meet up with the bottom, I have tried everything I know, and I am still stuck. Any help with this would be appreciated.

P.S. Maxing the middle div a fixed height will make the backgrounds join, but defeats the purpose of what I am trying to do.
