How to create an eFlyer/Newsletter?

Hi,

I've dabbled with some HTML emails but so many email clients reject the HTML portion...I'd like to know how businesses like Best Buy, Amazon, TigerDirect, etc. manage to put together an eFlyer that arrives at least OK in my inbox. By OK I mean all one needs to do is click once to allow/display the images to be shown and bingo everything is in place.

Any help would be appreciated...
