Hello, I am currently trying to make a layout for my portfolio so I can put my work on the net. I admit, I am not very good at all with anything web development related, I have done small things here and there over the years but that is about it.

I have a problem, I have run into a problem with the template I have made. My goal is to try and keep it as simple and small as possible, I don't need anything overly fancy, just a place that has images of my things, a contact page, a news page, and so on, the generic online portfolio things. I spliced up the layout once I had finished it in Photoshop and then started working on it in Dreamweaver, everything seemed to be going good until I reached what I expected to be the harder thing. I am going to assume I really butchered the tables layout and probably need to start over. Really all I want is if someone could draw a overlay on this image of my template as to a guide of the best way to go about chopping this thing up, and possibly some useful tips as to what I will need? I don't need any explanations as how to do anything, I just am unsure what exactly I will need, whats the best way to do this and so on.

Does anyone have any experience making one of these? My problem with what I have done is the space where all the content is going to show up at is well.. giving me headaches This is what I did: http://i20.tinypic.com/34e3fvk.jpg

If anyone would be will to show what I did wrong.. please, it would be great! http://i20.tinypic.com/2uf4ubc.jpg
