Hi there. New to this forum. This is my first posting. I got a website for my locsl community - I was thinking of expanding to other geographical areas. I have not had much feedback on the look of the site other than from friends and family - who may not tell the truth or give a critical view. Please have a look at it and tell me what you think http://www.motherwell.info

I was thinking of having another url for each new town as it would give each new site a better viewing rate on google. Is this a good idea ?

Tell me what you think - be honest !!!

Thanks

Ross

Hi Ross,

I think it is a good idea to make local community sites! In general I really like the site, but maybe the layout in the listings could be a little clearer. In the Directory I would make e.g. the name of the company a dark color and the details a lighter one. At the moment it looks a bit messy in my eyes. The idea of using Google map is brilliant!

I have played with the idea of making a site for my community and when I lived in Spain me and a friend created www.my-javea.com.

Good stuff!
