I am developing a new site and have no idea where to head, am hoping someone can atleast point me in the right direction.

I need the page to have four drop down menus, and each those menus to connect ot a datbase.

One all dropdowns have been chosen a listing will be given, when any of those listing are clicked, another page with open up giving more details.

I am assuming this has to be database driven? What type of database? How? Who? Where.

The site is... www.yellowescorts.com

It is not database driven at the moment and it is a bit of a pain in the ass!

A good site that gives an example of what I want is this:

http://www.inertia-music.com/

except i need four, or five dropdowns.

so on this site, you choose your dropdowns, it brings up a listings pages, and them the another page dertimined by which listing you choose.

Please help, i am so lost, and just need some direction. Perhaps there is some software, or free scripts out there?

hey, Violenteer,

You may need database. MySQL is a good choice if you will run your application both under windows or linux.

You will need a /cpanel(control panel) like area, for your site admin to enter those Area Related items frequently..

then you can make them listed to public page by diffferent locations...using a database search.

Without database, you may do nothing for your good thinking by separating your items by region,state,city...
