Color Help

Good afternoon,

I'm not very artistic, and no little about design, so I apologize if this seems like a dumb question.

Is it possible to obtain the "difference" between two colors and apply that difference to another base color? Is there a tool to do this?

Essentially, I have created a gradient that I like between two shades of orange. I have a shade of blue and I would like to replicate the same transition. In essence, I need a way to calculate the second shade of blue such that it is consistent with the gradient used in my orange.

All I do is take my orange gradient and then in Photoshop go to
image > adjustments > hue saturation
and then play with the hue.

Try that!
