Hi there, I'm not a web designer so please excuse the fuzzy definition of words...
My company's website is currently using two lists (countries and nationalities), which have a 3-letter code, and is manually created.
I'd like to have this standardised and have come across the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 code (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3), which will give me a list of all countries and a three-letter code (the three-letter code as opposed to two-letter, or digits, is important as modifying this will require a major rework of our middleware system). However I'm having trouble identifying the equivalent for nationalities.
From my investigations, the ISO does not produce a list of nationality codes, so is there an unofficial list that is available anywhere, similar to the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 code?
Any help would be really appreciated!
If I have posted in the wrong forum, please let me know what would be a more appropriate place.
Cheers,
Cecile.
