Need to find CSS pop out menu example

Hi guys.

Im trying to find a very simple CSS pop out menu example.

What I basically want to do is find out how to create one step by stepo so I can modify it and make it my own.

I have only found 1 example of what I want on dynamic drive

But I dont really understand all the code.

Does anybody have a really simple example with just the basics required for making a menu work?
