You'll have a much better response to the site if you make it so that people will read it. First off everything except the photo is low contrast. That not only makes the page harder to read, it just looks wrong. Scroll down to the bottom, look away and then quickly glance at the page and look away again. What did you notice? The Traffic Ranking banner because it's black, and it's the least important thing on the page.

You've also got way too much text. People don't read web pages. They scan them looking for the information they came for or a link to it. They don't stop and read large blocks of text. What you should do is go through and edit the text, leaving out half the words. Once you've done that, go through and do it again, leaving out another half of the words. At this point you should have short, concise and to-the-point text that will invigte people to read it. Add to that enough contrast to make the rext appear readable (like maybe black on white instead of the designey gray) and you'll be in business.
