My first thought was that you were a new designer because you only had one client. I got this impression because the dentist was the featured site and the site highlighted in the column on the right. Clicking on the portfolio link showed me that this wasn't the case, that you have a number of finished projects, so I question using the same site twice on the home page when you could highlight two different ones.

The only design thing I'd change if it were my site is to make the text white to increase contrast and readbility. I know it's the in designer thing to have gray on gray, and although yours is better than most, that extra contrast would help get people to read your text.

Congrats on the text, by the way, as it's short and succinct, the way text should be on the web.
