Statistics and News for Web Design Industry

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a good website that monitors news and business trends in the web design/development industry, but I can't seem to find one using Google. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For example, I'm interested in knowing things like the total size of the web design/development industry in the US, the number of major sites using flash of some sort etc.
