Div content from a webpage?

Is a Div capable of having it's total content come from a webpage or asp output, just as if it were a frame or iframe?

If so, can you point me to an example somewhere.

If it was an ASP page, wouldn't you just place

Response.Write("content")

%>

Within the content div tags?
